Ingredients
  

Tea and Spices

  • 2 bags Black tea (chai tea bags) Or use loose-leaf chai tea.
  • 1 stick Cinnamon Use ground cinnamon if preferred.
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Freshly grated ginger adds more flavor.
  • 2 whole Cloves For added boldness.

Latte Components

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Milk or milk alternative Dairy, almond, or oat milk can be used.
  • to taste Sweetener Honey, maple syrup, or any preferred sweetener.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Boil about 1.5 cups of water in a small saucepan.
  • Once boiling, add chai tea and spices (cinnamon, ginger, cloves), then simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • In a separate saucepan, warm milk over low heat and whisk gently, adding sweetener.

Combining

  • Strain brewed tea into a mug, discarding solids. Add vanilla extract.
  • Pour warmed milk into the chai mixture, holding back froth if desired.
  • Top with cinnamon or whipped cream before serving.

Notes

For a vegan option, use plant-based milk and a vegan sweetener. Adjust spices and sweetness levels to preference. For an iced version, cool brewed chai and serve over ice.
