Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Boneless Chicken Thighs Juicy and flavorful, perfect for absorbing the sauce.
  • 2 tbsp Butter Use unsalted butter for a rich, creamy base. Can substitute with olive oil.
  • 1/3 cup Honey A natural sweetener that adds depth to the sauce. Maple syrup can be an alternative.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced; fresh is best.
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Use Tamari for a gluten-free option.
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Adds a hint of heat.
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley For garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and black pepper.
  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until it sizzles gently.
  • Add the chicken thighs to the skillet, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken and set it aside. In the same skillet, pour in the honey, soy sauce, garlic, and remaining butter. Stir until combined and bubbling.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sticky sauce. Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes to soak up those flavors.
  • Sprinkle chopped parsley over the chicken for a fresh finish.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat with a splash of water or chicken broth. For deeper flavors, marinate chicken overnight in honey sauce.
