Preparation

  • Start by layering the lettuce in a large bowl; this will be the base of your sub bowl.
  • Next, layer the sliced deli meats on top of the lettuce.
  • Sprinkle your choice of cheese over the meats, letting it melt slightly if you prefer it warm.
  • Add cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, and peppers.
  • Drizzle your favorite dressing over the top, making sure to cover each ingredient lightly.
  • Add olives to the mix as a final touch.
  • Use a large spoon to gently mix everything together or leave it as is for a beautiful presentation.

Notes

You can prepare the ingredients ahead of time and keep them in separate containers in the fridge for easy assembly. For any leftovers, store them in an air-tight container; they will stay fresh for up to three days.
