Ingredients

For the Bread

  • 1 lb Pizza Dough Store-bought or homemade
  • 6 oz Pepperoni Mini or regular slices
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded For a zing, mix in provolone or cheddar
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning Fresh or dried
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced For flavor
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil Can use butter for a richer flavor
  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated For sprinkling on top

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle, about 12×18 inches.
  • In a large bowl, combine pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic.
  • Evenly distribute the filling over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border to seal the edges.
  • Carefully roll the dough from one long side to the other, forming a log. Pinch the seams to seal the filling inside.
  • Place the rolled dough seam-side down on a lined baking sheet. Brush the top with olive oil, and sprinkle grated Parmesan over it.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

For dietary substitutions, use turkey pepperoni and whole wheat dough for a lighter option, or substitute the pepperoni for a mix of fresh veggies or a hearty pesto for vegetarian.
