  • 1/2 cup sour cream Use yogurt for a healthier twist if desired.
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be substituted for a tangy flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Cheddar cheese can be swapped in for a bolder flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced The more garlic, the merrier!
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice Adds brightness to balance the creamy richness.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Feel free to add cayenne pepper for a kick.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Add in the minced garlic and fresh lemon juice, and stir until well combined.
  • Fold in fresh or thawed spinach and mozzarella cheese, mixing until evenly distributed.
  • Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.

Baking

  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbling and golden brown on top.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with fresh veggies, pita chips, or crispy bread slices. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or a skillet until warm.
