  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Enhances the flavor profile beautifully.

Preparation

  • Place the chicken in the bottom of your slow cooker, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the chicken broth and cream of chicken soup until well-blended, then pour over the chicken.
  • Sprinkle the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the top.

Cooking

  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. If you’re around, give it a stir halfway through!
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks, stirring it back into the gravy.

Serving

  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

This dish keeps wonderfully, making it ideal for leftovers. Store any unused chicken and gravy in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freezing, allow to cool completely, then transfer to freezer-safe bags or containers for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
