Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your crock pot, making sure they’re evenly spread out.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ranch seasoning, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth until smooth.
  • If using, chop your chosen veggies and layer them over the chicken.
  • Gently pour the ranch mixture over the chicken and veggies, ensuring everything is coated.
  • Cover with the lid and set your crock pot on low for 6-8 hours or high for around 4 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken with a fork and mix everything together. Garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

Spice it up with diced jalapeños for a kick. Use low-fat cream of chicken soup or Greek yogurt for a lighter twist. Double the recipe for batch cooking and freeze leftovers.
