Ingredients
  

For the Soup

  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil For sautéing and flavor
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Freshly minced for flavor
  • 1 inch Ginger, minced Freshly minced for flavor
  • 4 cups Chicken or Vegetable Broth Use low-sodium if preferred
  • 2 medium Carrots, sliced Or any seasonal vegetables
  • 1 cup Potstickers Store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce Use coconut aminos for gluten-free
  • Salt and Pepper To taste Adjust according to your preference
  • 1 bunch Green Onions, chopped For garnish and flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat a large pot over medium heat and drizzle in a tablespoon of sesame oil.
  • Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Toss in sliced carrots and other veggies of your choice; let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Gently add the potstickers and cook for another 5–7 minutes until heated through.
  • Taste the broth, adding soy sauce, salt, and pepper as needed.
  • Stir in chopped green onions just before serving.
  • Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with extra green onions or sesame oil.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. For freezing, omit dumplings before storing and add fresh ones when reheating.
