Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the slider buns horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms attached.
  • Place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
  • Spread the pizza sauce evenly on the bottom halves of the buns.
  • Sprinkle the cooked sausage or chosen proteins/veggies over the sauce.
  • Cover the meat with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Add a second layer of toppings if desired.
  • Place the tops of the slider buns back on, gently pressing them down.
  • Mix melted butter with Italian seasoning and brush this mixture over the tops of the sliders.
