Preparation

  • In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • Once the butter has melted, add in the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until they are completely melted.
  • Remove the pot from heat and stir in the peanut butter until fully incorporated.
  • Gradually fold in the Rice Krispies, ensuring every piece is coated.
  • Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Pour the mixture into the dish and press it down evenly.
  • Allow the treats to cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding chocolate chips, dried fruits, or even a pinch of cinnamon during preparation. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
