Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine whole wheat flour, baking powder, and peanut butter.
- Add the egg and apple sauce (or banana) and gradually stir in water until the mixture is smooth.
- Lightly grease an 8-inch round cake pan with cooking spray and pour in your batter, smoothing it out evenly.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
Notes
