Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare the baking dish by lightly greasing it with olive oil or lining it with parchment paper.
  • Place the tilapia fillets in the baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil, squeeze some fresh lemon juice, and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • In a bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese and finely chopped herbs.
  • Spread the herb mixture evenly over the fish fillets, pressing it down gently.

Cooking

  • Bake the tilapia for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden and crispy.
  • Garnish with additional herbs and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Freeze extras for up to a month. Prepare the fish with the seasoning and toppings ahead of time for convenience.
