Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Pour in the milk, honey or maple syrup, and beaten egg. Mix until combined.
  • Fold in your chosen dried fruits and nuts.
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and spread the oatmeal mixture evenly in the dish.

Baking

  • Place it in the oven and bake for about 40-45 minutes, until it’s golden and set.
  • Let it sit for a few minutes before slicing into squares. Enjoy warm, topped with fresh fruit or a drizzle of honey.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to four days. For longer-lasting options, freeze individual portions and reheat in the microwave.
