  • to taste Salt and Pepper Essential seasonings for balancing flavors.
  • 1 tsp Lemon Zest (optional) Adds brightness to the dish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Ensure the chicken is thawed and pat it dry with paper towels.

Cooking the Chicken

  • In a large skillet, melt 1/4 cup of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Once the butter is bubbling slightly, add the chicken to the pan.
  • Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove the chicken and let it rest on a plate.

Sautéing Garlic

  • In the same pan, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Stir until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

Adding Broth and Noodles

  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a low simmer. Stir in the egg noodles and let them cook for about 8-10 minutes, or until tender, stirring occasionally.

Combining

  • Once the noodles are cooked, return the chicken to the pan to heat through. Add lemon zest and freshly chopped parsley, stirring gently to combine.

Serving

  • Plate the chicken over the buttery noodles and garnish with more parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To freeze, place in a freezer-safe container for up to 2 months. For reheating, gently warm in a skillet over medium heat with a splash of broth or water to maintain moisture.
