  • 1 cup Sour cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese More for topping, if desired.
  • 1/2 cup Cooked bacon, crumbled Can substitute with turkey bacon or sautéed mushrooms for a lower-calorie option.
  • 1/4 cup Green onions, sliced Save half for topping.
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Adds depth and savory richness.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder For aromatic kick.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Blend until smooth.
  • Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and half of the sliced green onions.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  • Spread a bit more shredded cheddar on top and sprinkle the remaining green onions.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until it’s bubbly and golden.
  • Let it cool for a moment, then serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh vegetable sticks.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freezing, use a freezer-safe container for up to a month. Reheat gently in the oven or microwave.
