Preparation

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  • Cook until the chicken is lightly browned, approximately 4-5 minutes on each side.
  • Stir in the orzo and let it soak up the garlic flavor for about a minute.

Cooking

  • Add the chicken broth, bring it to a boil, and then reduce to a simmer.
  • Cover and let it cook until the orzo is al dente, around 10-12 minutes.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and freshly chopped spinach, allowing them to combine into a luscious sauce.
  • Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spinach wilts.
  • Finally, add grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until it melts and enhances the flavor.
