  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder Adds depth
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) to warm things up for baking.
  • Steam the Broccoli: Lightly steam the broccoli florets until they’re vibrant green and tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  • Mix the Cheesy Goodness: In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until well blended.
  • Combine: Gently fold in the steamed broccoli and ¾ cup of shredded cheddar cheese until everything is coated.
  • Transfer to a Baking Dish: Pour the broccoli-cheese mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and Parmesan.
  • Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.
  • Cool & Serve: Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For variations, consider adding cooked chicken or ground turkey, fresh herbs, or different cheeses. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
