  • salt and pepper To taste.
  • Optional toppings: chopped green onions or fresh cilantro For garnish.

Preparation

  • Cook the rice according to package instructions. As it steams, enjoy the warm scent.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Sauté until chicken is cooked through and golden, about 6-8 minutes.
  • Once chicken is browned, pour in the BBQ sauce and honey, stirring well to coat. Let the aroma fill your kitchen.
  • Fold the cooked rice into the chicken mixture, ensuring everything is well combined. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and serve in bowls. Top with green onions or cilantro if desired.

Notes
