Homemade Oat Milk

Servings: 4 cups

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ tbsp sugar or sweetener of choice
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients into a blender and blend for 60 seconds*. Taste test to adjust sweetness to your liking.
  • Strain the oat milk through a nut milk bag or fine mesh strainer.
  • Transfer to a jug or bottle and store in the fridge. Lasts up to 5 days.

Notes

*Blending for longer than 60 seconds can end up giving the milk a slimy texture.
