  • 2 cups Greek Yogurt The main ingredient providing creaminess and protein.
  • 1 medium Cucumber Grated and squeezed to remove excess moisture.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced garlic for flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Dill Fresh or dried for a Mediterranean flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Extra virgin for richness.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Adds brightness and acidity.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper To taste.

Preparation

  • Grate the cucumber using a box grater. Place it in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out the excess moisture.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir everything together until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Taste and adjust the seasonings if necessary.
  • Cover the bowl and let it rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes if time allows.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. This dip can be made up to 48 hours in advance.
