Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels, then season generously with salt and pepper.
  • In a large oven-safe skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in the fresh herbs and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  • Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the skillet and sear for about 5-7 minutes, or until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
  • Carefully flip the thighs, drizzle them with fresh lemon juice, and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Once done, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
