Preparation

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil.
  • When the oil shimmers, add diced onions and sauté until they become translucent, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and ground turkey. Use a spatula to break the turkey apart, cooking until it turns white and begins to brown, about 6–8 minutes.
  • Sprinkle in paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to ensure the turkey is evenly coated in the spices.
  • Add the diced potatoes to the skillet and mix well, ensuring they soak up the flavors.
  • Cover the skillet and let everything simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are fork-tender.
  • Once tender, taste for seasoning and adjust if needed. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve hot.

Notes

This dish stores well and can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage. Reheat in the microwave or stovetop.
