  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano Aromatic and classic.
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese Nutty, salty, and essential.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Melty, gooey indulgence.
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough or pizza dough Easiest option for quick dinner ideas.
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter Brush for a golden finish.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For the buttery garlic topping.
  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment for easy cleanup.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion until no pink remains and the onion is translucent. Drain excess fat if needed.
  • Stir in the minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for another minute until fragrant. Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
  • In a bowl, combine the cooled beef mixture with the Parmesan and half of the mozzarella. Mix gently so the cheese melts just slightly into the meat.
  • On a lightly floured surface, separate biscuit dough or roll out pizza dough and cut into rounds about 3 inches across.
  • Spoon a tablespoon or two of the filling into the center of each dough round. Fold the edges over and pinch to seal, forming a neat little ball. Place seam-side down on the prepared sheet.
  • Brush each bomb with melted butter mixed with garlic powder, and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top.

Cooking

  • Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown and bubbling. Let cool a few minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and enjoy while warm.

Notes

These bombs can be made vegetarian by using crumbled tempeh or plant-based meat. For a healthier option, you can choose whole-wheat or cauliflower-based dough.
