Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish lightly with cooking spray or olive oil.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, melt about 4 tablespoons of butter.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and let it simmer for one minute until fragrant. Add the lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the tilapia fillets in the greased baking dish and pour the garlic butter mixture over them.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes, until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque throughout.
  • Once out of the oven, sprinkle fresh parsley on top for garnish.

Notes

Feel free to add red pepper flakes for heat, swap butter for ghee or avocado oil for a lighter option, or top with sautéed mushrooms or roasted cherry tomatoes for extra flavor.
