Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Feel free to substitute with vegan cream cheese if preferred.
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt Sour cream works in a pinch!

Fresh Vegetables

  • 1 medium Red Bell Pepper Diced finely.
  • 1 cup Carrots Grated; you can use zucchini for a lighter option.
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions Sliced.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Basil Feel free to swap with parsley or dill.

Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Fresh garlic can also be used.
  • 2 tablespoons Nutritional Yeast Adds a cheesy flavor without dairy.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Finely chop the red bell pepper and green onions, and grate the carrots.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and Greek yogurt. Blend until creamy and smooth.
  • Add in the garlic powder and nutritional yeast. Stir until fully incorporated.
  • Gently mix in the grated carrots, chopped bell pepper, green onions, and fresh basil.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning with salt or pepper, or add a squeeze of lemon juice if desired.
  • Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and enjoy!

Notes

Chill for at least an hour before serving for the flavors to meld beautifully. This spread keeps well in the fridge for up to 4 days.
