  • 1/2 cup Tomato Sauce A classic marinara or your favorite pizza sauce without added sugars.
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded Part-skim can be used for a lower-fat option.
  • 1/2 cup Pepperoni, sliced Substitute with vegetables or spicy sausage if desired.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Can be replaced with melted butter.

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning Enhances flavors with basil, oregano, and thyme.
  • optional Red Pepper Flakes Add for heat if desired.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place flatbreads on a baking sheet and lightly brush with olive oil.
  • Evenly distribute the tomato sauce over each flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Top with shredded mozzarella cheese, covering all sauce.
  • Layer pepperoni slices across the cheese.
  • Sprinkle italian seasoning over the top.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly, and the flatbread is golden brown.
  • Remove from oven, let cool for a minute, slice, and enjoy!

Notes

For a crispier crust, pre-bake flatbread for 5 minutes before adding toppings. Use less toppings to maintain crispiness.
