  • 2 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced A must for depth of flavor. Substitute with garlic powder if needed.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger, grated Adds warm flavor; ground ginger can be used if fresh is unavailable.
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce Use low-sodium if you're watching sodium intake.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Adds richness and aroma.
  • 2 each Green Onions, chopped For garnish.

Optional Toppings

  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt Can replace sour cream for creaminess.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of sesame oil.
  • Add the ground pork or chicken, breaking it apart while it cooks until browned.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking until fragrant.
  • Add the coleslaw mix gradually, stirring until the veggies wilt slightly.
  • Drizzle soy sauce over the mixture and stir well, allowing the sauce to thicken.
  • Remove from heat and serve in bowls, topped with green onions, sesame seeds, or Greek yogurt.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in a skillet to maintain texture. Use fresh herbs or adjust spice levels for personal preference.
