  • 2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries Sliced for tartness and sweetness. Can substitute with blueberries or raspberries.
  • 1 pre-made Graham cracker crust Classic base; an Oreo crust can be used for variation.

  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice Enhances flavor; lime juice can be used for a different edge.

Instructions

Preparation

  • If using fresh strawberries, wash, hull, and slice them into bite-sized pieces. If using frozen, let them thaw and strain excess liquid.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the Cool Whip, powdered sugar, and lemon juice. Use a whisk or spatula to blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold the sliced strawberries into the Cool Whip mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Pour the strawberry filling into the pre-made graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly to the edges.
  • Cover the pie with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and place it in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  • Once set, slice it, and enjoy with a dollop of extra Cool Whip on top if you're feeling extra indulgent!

Notes

For a chocolate twist, add mini chocolate chips to the filling. A sprinkle of finely chopped mint or basil can elevate the pie's flavor. To make it gluten-free, use a gluten-free graham cracker crust or a nut-based crust.
