  • 1 pound thinly sliced roast beef or deli roast beef choose quality meat for the best texture
  • 8-12 slices provolone or Swiss cheese melts beautifully and balances the beef

  • 2 cups beef broth warm, used for dipping; low-sodium if preferred

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet or place the slider tray on foil for easy cleanup.
  • Slice the slider rolls horizontally but keep them connected on one side if possible. Place the bottom halves on the tray.
  • Layer the thinly sliced roast beef across the rolls, gently piling it so every bite is meaty. Sprinkle a little black pepper over the meat.
  • Lay provolone or Swiss cheese slices over the beef, tucking edges slightly if needed so each slider gets a gooey blanket of cheese.
  • Combine melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl. Brush the mixture liberally over the tops of the rolls until they shine.

Cooking

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  • Warm the beef broth in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl until steaming; serve it in individual dipping bowls.
  • Slice the sliders into individual sandwiches and serve immediately with the warm au jus for dipping.

Notes
