  • 2 bags Chai tea bags You can also use your favorite black tea bags.
  • 1 cup Water Fresh, filtered water is recommended.

Milk and Sweetener

  • 1 cup Milk Whole, skim, almond, or oat milk can be used.

Spices

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon Adds warmth and depth.
  • 1 tsp Ginger Gives a hint of spiciness.
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Offers a floral and fragrant note.
  • 1 tsp Clove Optional for bold flavor.

Preparation

  • Boil Water: Start by bringing your water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  • Steep Tea: Once boiling, remove from heat and add your chai tea bags. Let them steep for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add Spices: Stir in the cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom.
  • Prepare Milk: In a separate saucepan, gently heat your milk and whisk until frothy if desired.
  • Sweeten: Remove the tea bags, add your desired sweetener to the tea, and stir.
  • Combine: Pour the warm milk into the spiced chai and stir gently.
  • Serve: Pour the Easy Chai Tea Latte into your favorite mug and sprinkle cinnamon on top.

Notes

For variations, try adding nutmeg, use decaffeinated tea, or make it iced. Coconut milk offers a tropical twist.
