Ingredients

For the chocolate bar

  • 2 cups Chocolate (dark or milk) High-quality chocolate recommended.
  • 1 cup Caramel Homemade or store-bought.
  • 1 cup Nuts (such as almonds or pistachios) Can be substituted with seeds if allergies are a concern.
  • 1/2 cup Butter For creamy texture.
  • 1/2 cup Sugar Can be reduced for a healthier option.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by melting the chocolate in a double boiler, stirring it until it’s smooth and glossy.
  • In a separate saucepan, combine sugar and butter to create your caramel sauce; allow it to bubble gently until it reaches a golden color.
  • Once the caramel is ready, fold in your chosen nuts.
  • Pour half of the melted chocolate into a lined baking dish, followed by the caramel-nut mixture. Finish with the remaining chocolate on top.
  • Let it set in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before slicing it into delightful squares.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze the bars, separating each layer with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
