Dressing Ingredients

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Shred the green and red cabbages using a sharp knife or a food processor and add them to a large mixing bowl.
  • Peel and grate the carrots, slice the bell peppers, chop the cilantro, and slice the green onions. Toss all the vegetables into the bowl with the cabbage.

Dressing Preparation

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and your choice of honey or maple syrup. Taste and adjust as needed.

Combining the Slaw

  • Pour the dressing over the veggie mixture and toss everything together, ensuring each bite is coated.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and give it one last toss before serving.

Notes

For added protein, consider tossing in grilled chicken, shrimp, or tofu. Spice up your slaw by adding jalapeƱo or sriracha for an extra kick. This slaw can be stored for up to three days in the refrigerator.
