  • 1 lb Ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs Substitute with gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
  • 1 Egg A flax egg can be used for a vegan alternative.
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh garlic gives an aromatic kick.

Honey Garlic Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce Use low-sodium or tamari for a gluten-free option.
  • 1/2 cup Honey Sweetens and creates that beautiful glaze.
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil Adds richness; can be omitted if needed.

Garnish

  • Green onions For garnish

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, and minced garlic. Mix until just combined.
  • Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them in the crockpot.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the meatballs.

Cooking

  • Set the crockpot to low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  • Allow the aroma to fill your kitchen!
  • Once done, garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days, or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in the crockpot or microwave.
