Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over the thighs, then sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper, coating each thigh evenly.
  • Lay the chicken thighs skin-side up on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and a meat thermometer reads 165°F (75°C) at the thickest part.
  • Let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Try marinating the chicken in lemon juice, honey, and soy sauce for a flavorful twist. Can use fresh herbs or add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
