  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded Store-bought convenience, but feel free to cook your own.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For sautéing; it adds a nice depth of flavor.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic is a must for aromatic goodness.
  • 1 cup heavy cream You can substitute with half-and-half for a lighter option.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Homemade or store-bought to enhance flavor.
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese For that rich, nutty flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Seasoning to bring everything to life.
  • to taste Fresh parsley for garnish Optional, but it adds a lovely pop of color and freshness.

Cooking Preparation

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Add the broccoli florets during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Allow the mixture to come to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in the shredded rotisserie chicken, letting it heat through in the creamy sauce.
  • Gradually add the grated parmesan cheese, whisking until it’s melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper to your taste.
  • Toss the cooked pasta and broccoli into the skillet and stir until everything is well coated with the creamy sauce.
  • Plate your creamy pasta and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Enjoy the smiles at the table!

Notes

You can replace pasta for a low-carb option like zoodles. For a lighter version, use whole wheat pasta or Greek yogurt instead of cream. This dish is fantastic for leftovers and can be paired with a fresh salad or garlic bread.
