  • 1 cup sour cream try Greek yogurt as a healthier option
  • 1 cup guacamole store-bought or homemade if you’re feeling adventurous
  • 1 cup salsa choose your heat preference
Toppings
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or a Mexican blend works wonders
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes fresh or canned, depending on your season
  • 1 cup finely chopped green onions or chives for a subtle onion flavor
  • 1 cup sliced black olives omit if you’re not a fan or sub with diced jalapeños for a kick

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large serving dish, spread a generous layer of refried beans.
  2. Gently spread the sour cream over the beans, covering the entire surface.
  3. Carefully dollop the guacamole on top of the sour cream and spread it evenly.
  4. Pour the salsa over the guacamole.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese across the salsa layer.
  6. Evenly distribute the diced tomatoes on top.
  7. Sprinkle on the green onions and black olives.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days, keep layers separate to prevent browning.
