Ingredients
  

Chocolate and Fruit

  • 8 ounces dark chocolate (60–70 percent cacao) Melts beautifully and balances the fruit.
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered Ripe strawberries are essential for perfume and juiciness.

Yogurt Mixture

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt, thick and strained Full-fat for richness or low-fat for a lighter bite.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Optional, to sweeten the yogurt.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Lifts the yogurt flavor.

Nuts and Seasoning

  • 1/2 cup chopped toasted almonds or chopped pistachios Adds crunch; substitute with sunflower seeds for a nut-free option.
  • 1 pinch sea salt Enhances chocolate flavor.

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, stir the Greek yogurt with honey and vanilla until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness; the yogurt should be pleasantly tangy.
  • Chop the dark chocolate finely and melt slowly in a double boiler or microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring between each, until glossy and smooth.
  • In a mixing bowl, gently combine the quartered strawberries and chopped nuts with a tiny pinch of sea salt.

Forming Clusters

  • On a parchment-lined baking sheet, place a small dollop of melted chocolate, then a spoonful of the strawberry-nut mix, and top with another drizzle of chocolate.
  • With a small spoon or piping bag, top each cluster with a tiny dot of the sweetened Greek yogurt.

Chilling and Serving

  • Refrigerate the tray for 15–20 minutes until the chocolate firms and the yogurt holds its shape.
  • Serve chilled or slightly cool.

Notes

Store clusters in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. They do not freeze well with yogurt but can be frozen without yogurt for up to 2 months.
