  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) so it’s ready when your casserole is mixed.
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  • Stir in the cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  • Add salt, pepper, and any additional seasoning you like, such as thyme or oregano.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top.
  • Bake for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can add your favorite veggies like broccoli or bell peppers for extra nutrition. For a lighter version, use ground turkey or chicken and brown rice.
