  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce Homemade or store-bought.
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded For a cheesy finish.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Adds aromatic flavor.
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped Yellow or white onions work beautifully.
  • to taste Salt & Pepper Enhances flavors.

Optional Toppings

  • Diced pickles, mustard, or fresh parsley For added flavor.

Preparation

  • In a large pot, boil water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute.

Cooking

  • Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook and crumble the meat until browned, around 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Stir in the beef broth and tomato sauce, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer. Let it bubble for about 5 minutes.
  • Gently fold the cooked pasta into the skillet and combine thoroughly.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar over the top and allow it to melt.

Serving

  • Once the cheese is melted, serve hot with optional toppings.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. For longer storage, freeze portions in freezer-safe bags or containers for up to 3 months.
