  • 1 cup Black Tea (loose leaf or tea bags) Use loose leaf for the ultimate taste or 10 to 12 tea bags.
  • 2 tablespoons Ground Cinnamon Can also use cinnamon sticks.
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Ginger Fresh or dried ginger works well.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • ½ cup Milk Powder Can be substituted with non-dairy milk.
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar or Honey Adjust according to taste.

Preparation

  • Measure out your black tea into a bowl.
  • Add ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground cardamom, ground cloves, and ground nutmeg to the tea.
  • Mix in milk powder and your desired sweetener.
  • Stir all the ingredients together until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into an airtight container to keep it fresh.

Notes

Store your Chai Tea Latte Mix in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to three months. Adjust spice levels to taste, and try adding crushed peppermint for a festive touch.
