Instructions
 

Cooking the Chicken

  • In a skillet, add a splash of olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, place the chicken breasts or thighs in the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.

Shredding the Chicken

  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Using two forks, shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces.

Combining Ingredients

  • In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium-low. Add the shredded chicken and BBQ sauce, stirring until the chicken is well coated and heated through, about 3-5 minutes.

Assembling the Sliders

  • Slice the slider buns in half. Spoon a generous amount of BBQ chicken onto the bottom half of each bun. Top with coleslaw and pickles if desired, then place the top of the bun back on.
