Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the chicken, and season it generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Rub the seasoning all over the chicken, including inside the cavity.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the chicken breast-side down in the air fryer basket and cook for 30 minutes.
  • Carefully flip the chicken so the breast side is facing up and cook for an additional 20-30 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Serving

  • Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Consider adding lemon or orange inside the cavity for extra flavor and using herbs as a low-sodium option. Ensure proper air circulation in the fryer.
