Easy Hash Browns

Enjoy your breakfast with these easy to make hash browns using a few simple ingredients!

Cooked with olive oil and seasoned with salt and freshly ground black pepper these are some tasty, satisfying, and savory potatoes.

You can also get creative, since potatoes are basically a blank canvas for seasonings. Maybe some garlic salt? Chili lime seasoning? Whatever you like!

Easy Hash Browns

Ingredients

  • 2 medium russet potatoes peeled and shredded
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp olive oil divided

Instructions

  • In a large bowl mix together the shredded potatoes, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat 1 tsp of olive oil in large skillet over medium heat. Scoop half of the shredded potatoes onto the pan and spread out into a circle. Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Flip and cook the other side for an additional 2-3 minutes. Slide onto a plate and cook the rest of the shredded potatoes following the same steps. Serve immediately.
