Ingredients
  

For the Burger Patties

  • 1 lb Ground beef Choose a blend of fat for juiciness.
  • 1 tsp Salt For seasoning.
  • 1 tsp Pepper For seasoning.

For Assembling

  • 4 pieces Burger buns Fluffy burger buns recommended.
  • to taste Toppings Cheese, pickles, onions, or sauce of your choice.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper, mixing lightly to combine without overworking it.
  • Form the beef into equal-sized balls, about 4 ounces each.

Cooking

  • Preheat your skillet or grill over high heat until it’s hot.
  • Place the beef balls on the skillet and use a spatula to smash them down firmly.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes until a crust forms, then flip the patties.
  • If using, place a slice of cheese on each patty after flipping and allow it to melt.
  • While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast your burger buns in another pan or under the broiler until golden brown.

Assembly

  • Layer your bun with the burger patty, adding your desired toppings before placing the top half of the bun.
  • Serve and enjoy while they’re hot!

Notes

Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for a healthier option, and experiment with different cheeses. For storage, store patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
