Preparation

  • Start by boiling a large pot of salted water and cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • Gradually pour in the milk, whisking until the mixture is smooth and begins to thicken—about 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and slowly stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Add the drained pasta to the cheese sauce and mix until well coated. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of milk.
