Preparation

  • Start by flattening the chicken breasts to ensure even cooking.
  • Dredge each piece in flour, shaking off the excess.
  • Dip into the beaten eggs, and then coat with a generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
  • Once melted, add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5–6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add more butter along with minced garlic and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add lemon juice and heavy cream, stirring continuously as the sauce thickens.
  • Return the chicken to the pan and allow it to soak in the creamy sauce for an additional 2–3 minutes.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with lemon slices and fresh parsley.

Notes

Tips: Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or Greek yogurt for a lighter version. Add seasonal veggies like spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor. Toss in capers for a briny contrast.
