  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Fresh garlic can also be used for a bolder taste.
  • to taste Salt Essential seasoning that enhances all the flavors.
  • to taste Black Pepper Essential seasoning that enhances all the flavors.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Slice the onions thinly and heat a pan over medium heat.
  • Add a splash of oil and let the onions cook slowly for about 25 minutes, stirring frequently until they turn golden brown.

Mixing

  • In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Blend well until smooth, creating a rich and creamy base.

Combining

  • Once the onions are perfectly caramelized, fold them into the cream mixture.

Chilling

  • Cover the dip and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Serving

  • Garnish with fresh chives or parsley and serve with your favorite chips or veggies.

Notes

You can prepare this dip ahead of time and store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat leftovers gently in the microwave.
