Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure even cooking.
  • In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Fold in the asparagus until well coated.
  • Create a pocket in each chicken breast using a sharp knife and stuff with the asparagus filling.
  • Rub the outside of each stuffed chicken breast with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Place the stuffed chicken breasts on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Allow the chicken to rest for about five minutes before serving.

Notes

You can personalize your dish by swapping cream cheese for ricotta or goat cheese, or adding chopped nuts for crunch. Serve with sides like mashed potatoes or quinoa salad.
