A yummy vegan dessert that satisfies the sweet tooth.





The warm chai spices gives nice flavorful twist to plain blondies. These also go great alongside coffee or tea.

Spices you will need:
- Cinnamon
- Cardamom
- Ginger
- Cloves
- Nutmeg
You can make these even more tasty by adding vegan white chocolate chips and/or macadamia nuts!

Vegan Chai Blondies
Servings: 8 squares
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp ground flax seeds
- 6 tbsp water
- ½ cup vegan butter melted
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¾ tsp ground cardamom
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- ½ tsp ground cloves
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
Icing (optional)
- 6 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp non-dairy milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or line a 9×9 square baking pan with parchment paper.
- To make the flax eggs, mix together the ground flax seeds and water. Set aside for 5 minutes to thicken.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar. Add the flax eggs and vanilla extract and whisk until combined.
- Add the rest of the ingredients into the bowl and stir with a spatula or wooden spoon until combined. You should have a pretty thick batter.
- Pour and spread out into the prepared pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool before cutting and serving.
- To make the icing, whisk together the powdered sugar and non-dairy milk in a small bowl. Drizzle on top of the blondies.
