Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal

A tasty and satisfying breakfast for the fall season!

Why not level up your oatmeal with this pumpkin spice recipe? It’s made the same way as regular oatmeal just with a few added ingredients!

As toppings I used pomegranate seeds, roasted pepitas, and chopped pecans, but you can use any toppings you’d like!

Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup unsweetened non-dairy milk
  • ¾ cup rolled oats
  • 1½ tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp canned pumpkin puree
  • ½ tsp pumpkin spice
  • ½ tbsp ground flax seed
  • ⅛ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Bring the milk to a boil in a small pot. Mix in the rest of the ingredients and bring the heat down to medium. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve with toppings. I used pomegranate seeds, roasted pepitas, and chopped pecans.
